The good thing about weight loss management is that it puts you in charge. Once you realize that you are the one in control, you can accomplish anything!
You know what it is like when you start a new job and you are nervous, overwhelmed, and anxious? I'm always happy when I am at least 2 months into the new job because by then, I finally feel comfortable again and I know what to expect. It's a great feeling when you finally feel competent in your new job.

Learning weight loss management is like learning a new job. Once you get the hang of it, you can take off and accomplish many things. Everyday it get's easier and easier and you realize that you can do and are doing it. The point is that you have to learn it, which means you will probably make mistakes. But, that's okay. Learn from your mistakes and then keep moving forward. Mistakes are part of the process and mean that you are trying.
There are so many tips for weight loss out there that I always had a hard time figuring out what would work best for me. Once I figured it out, I could manage it and it became part of my daily routine. I ended up losing more weight than I originally was hoping for and have been able to keep it off.
Weight Loss Management
- Manage Stress. Stress causes the release of the hormone cortisol which helps fat cells to grow. Learn how to manage your stress to minimize the release of the hormone. Exercise is an excellent stress reducer. I also like to use essential oils to balance hormones and emotions.
- Manage Schedule. Create a bedtime routine so that you can have plenty of hours of rest. Also make a morning routine that incorporates time for yourself.
- Manage Meals. Plan your meals and snacks ahead of time to make food choices easier. This is a great habit to start. It puts you in control of your eating,
- Manage Exercise. Plan to exercise at least 4 times a week. Choose a time that is consistent everyday.
So even though it may be rough to start, just stick to it and you see results. Just like we see a rainbow after rain, you can enjoy reaching your weight loss goals after all of the effort you put into it.
