What's keeping you away from learning how to create success with weight loss exercise? If you're like me, I have a thousand of excuses. Excuses like; I don't have time to spend on myself, I don't have the money, I don't really know how to do it, etc. The list goes on. I'm really good at justifying myself too! All of my excuses have a valid reason.

Well, really, they are nothing but excuses. I finally realized that it is important for me to take care of myself. It is important for you too! After all, if you can't take care of yourself, you are no good to help others.

This is the first point I want to make. Leave all of the other excuses behind. You and your health matter and you are the only one that can make it happen. As an excuse lover, this kind of responsibility is sometimes overwhelming for me. But, let's look at it another way.

You have power. You have the power to change your habits, change your routine, change your body, and change your lifestyle. Your body can be molded into whatever you make of it.

So let's figure out how you can have success with weight loss exercise.

How To Create Success With Weight Loss Exercise

  • Develop a routine. Habits run our days and nights. By setting up an exercise routine, you will be able to create a healthy habit to last a lifetime. Losing weight takes consistency and perseverance. Choose at least 3-5 days a week for your workout. For consistency and creating a habit, make sure you workout at the same time everyday. Morning is best for getting your metabolism moving.
  • Choose a beloved activity. Pick an activity that you enjoy doing. It can be a sport, walking, swimming, anything that you know you will enjoy so you will keep doing it everyday. It's best not try something new. If you do, have a backup plan. Then if you don't like it, you can go back doing what you really love.
  • Track your progress. As you create the habit of exercise, track your progress. This will help you see how far you've come and inspire you to keep going.
  • Drink Water. Exercise makes you sweat, so make sure you are drinking plenty of water and keeping hydrated.

One of the benefits of using exercise to lose weight is that your body doesn't get as hungry as often. You will be able to eat less and be satisfied.
